Eighteen and Life

Paper dolls , Barbie , doll house, lego, jolens, tumbang preso, ponytail,  pig tail, eat, sleep,  play , study, Mommy’s Little baby ,Daddy’s little Girl ,naïve, childish, joyful, innocent , the happiness, simplicity, spontaneous, playful.  once a girl and I know will always be. But look at you now, you’ve become such a fine lady.

Just as every lights in the city goes down in the evening , sun sets in the afternoon,  there is always a morning after and the moon shines  to give us light , guide us in every step in dark  night. Sometimes it’s easy, sometimes it’s not. But anyways, who says it’s easy!  Sometimes, someone will help you in lighting that way and guide you through. Reality now is sometimes or most of the time its gonna be you. Mommy and Daddy are just around guiding you with some of the steps all the way.

Before, we ask ourselves or people ask us. Who you wanna be when you grow up? I wanna be a latero, karpintero , tubero, so many things we want to be and sometimes forget the journey of being a child, being young, which I may say plays a major role in growing up. It’s not just play it’s not just fun, it’s something we have learn in life; help us through by making us laugh making us feel at ease. I would say that if I may, let’s just cross the bridge when we get there. Enjoy the ride!

Our dreams that we left behind because we didn’t became what we want to be, things didn’t work out well and didn’t go as what we plan.  But it’s ok!  That’s life, the  lessons we learned wont be the ones that you plan…. It’s my life … Im gonna do what I want listen or hear the others … in the end its still you who will decide..
New chapter as it would inevitably come, Eighteen , you are now have become…

There’s so many ways to look at it. I bet you’ll agree. Sometimes blinding, feels strange feels your blowing out your head. Feels good because of the expectations, responsibility  on what lies ahead.

It’s sometimes a reality check but, the last time I made a rain check its more than that. Stand by you and by those people you are with you, help, hold hands we’ll make it through. Thinking with all those times you’re looking at the mirror fixing your hair what make up to put on when you can’t make up your mind on what clothes to wear.  Surprisingly, ending up Beautifully Perfect.

Maybe we’re all different in some ways or the other. We feel we’re drowning in the shadow of doubt. Just believed in yourself not with other people say, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be
Remember that your perfect God makes no mistakes..

Every day is another page of our life, 18 is the next first page of the next chapter. It’s all blank , it’s in our hands the pen and ink colored or black  will just be there to help you, guide  you design and hand crafted make your story worth reading and meaningful. The excitement here is nobody knows what will happen today tomorrow or the day after. Just hold on knowing the unknown. It doesn’t matter if we make it or not , at least we tried and find out I CAN.

Nobody promise us a good life that’s easy. Life changes like the weather, you grow up and you grow old. In these chapter also we start to realize, learn how will we find that pot of gold. Looking for it is not easy. You’ll be introduced  to this teachers called  SACRIFICE and  FAITH.  It’ll bring you to a ride just like a ferries wheel, will spin you around and when you get to the top try not to look down just hang on  and you’ll make it through. This,  My Lady I want to share a  seat next to you.

Eighteen and  Life , Good luck on the next page ,  next chapter. Wish me nothing but the best in all my endeavors. Remember that every new beginning is some beginnings end. I’m just here, I’ll come running. Enjoy Life as it is, it’s a crazy and insane ride  but it’s a worth the scream.

THAT’S ME BEING 18 taking my chances in this LIFE.

LALALALALAB. :D

Who would want to be Alone?
Who wouldn't want a man in her Life?
Do you see men as a Burden?
Or you see them as your partner in Eden?
Is he the reason why your world is Rockin'?
Or the reason why your Tears keep on fallin'?

Some of the thousand questions in a women's mind.
Did you already found love? But first, what is love?

for me LOVE is the reason:
  • why you ignore all your standards
  • why you smile just at the thought of him
  • why you miss him terribly minutes after you part ways
  • why you always wanna see him and be with him
  • why he's the one you're thinking before you sleep and the first thing that comes to your mind when you woke up
  • why you easily got jealous when he gives some attention to other girls
  • why you treasure everything he gives even if it's just a wrapper of chocolate
  • why it is easy to accept his imperfections
  • why you love to tease him and kiss him afterwards
  • why you sometimes become stupid
  • why you forgive him immediately by just smiling cutely at you
  • why you'll reach even for the stars just to make him smile
  • why he looks handsome in your eyes even if he's not. [haha]
  • why you love staring at him when you think he doesn't see you
  • why you ignore even your best friends just to be with him
  • why you love looking at the pictures of the two of you together
  • why you still love him even at his worst
  • why you still believe even if you know he's lying
  • why he's so protective when it comes to you
  • why he doesn't want you to be stared by other men
  • why sometimes he got jealous with your guy friends
  • why he loves hugging you from your back
  • why he loves holding your hands
  • why he's afraid to lose you
  • why he easily got worried when you're not texting him
  • why you don't care if its right or wrong

If you're feeling and experiencing the following statements above, then you are certified IN-LOVE.

All of us have our ideal man. A man in which we want to be with in the rest of our lives. The man we want to see beside us in the bed every morning we woke up. :D

I want a MAN who:

  • always makes me happy
  • makes me smile when I'm sad
  • gives me chocolate every time he feels like giving
  • likes to tease me
  • likes holding my hand
  • always miss me
  • tolerates my tantrums
  • always wanna be with me.
  • easily got jealous
  • got worried when  I wasn't able to text him
  • hates it when other men stares at me.
  • loves sharing his whole day activities to me
  • first to say sorry even if its my fault
  • spoils me
  • always there to help me
  • loves me at my worst
  • cares for me a lot
  • solace me when I'm down
  • scares at me when I'm mad
  • never fails to make me smile
  • finds time to see me even if he's busy
  • is Mr. Effort
There's this man who's in my mind while doing this, I wanna thank him for everything he does for me. Wanna let him know that I appreciate everything and I wanna dedicate this BLOG POSTS for him.

Hope this simple thing will make you smile.

LOVE is beautiful, LOVE is wonderful. It is sometimes painful and being hurt is the part of this process. If you didn't got hurt then you've never been in love. :D but still in the end, you're still proud to say "At least I've been in love".

LIFE is LOVE and if you miss love. YOU miss life. So lets continue loving, spread love. LOVE TRULY and SINCERELY and you'll be LOVED in return. :D

ang kimpeeeeer. hahhaha. :D
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Sabik sa SUBIC

I was asked join the Subic field trip of my youngest brother which is in grade 3 because he needs someone older to look after him during the trip. And of course I am more than willing to join, because except that I wanna go to Subic and see dolphins personally, I've never been to Subic before.

In October 7, 2010, me and my brother woke up early because the assembly in the school is 4:00am and being late is considered as a SIN. So at 4:00am we immediately leave our house. Their school is just 10minutes away from our place.

My Brother Vlade
When we got to their school I notice that I am the only teenager to accompany the students because most of them look like the student's mother and grandmother. But I already got used to that because it's not my first time to accompany my brother in his field trip and anyway, I dont mind being with the oldies. haha.

At exactly 5:30am the bus depart from the school going to Subic. NLEX GASOLINE STATION is the 1st stop over, for the students to pee and eat breakfast.  We stayed there for 30 minutes then continue travelling going to Subic. At 8:30am we arrived in Ocean Adventure, I just sleep in the bus on the way there. haha.

After the registration, we finally enter and start the tour inside. AQUARIUM is what we visit first, which contains a lot of aquariums containing different sea species each and a lot of colorful fishes.

Next is we watched a show which is obviously for kids but gives a very nice moral lesson regarding to preservation of the environment for the sake of all  living organisms living in it, such as animals and humans.

SEA LION SHOW is the next activity, where in the trained see lion will do tricks to entertain the audience which is very cute. He can smile, put his tounge out, kiss, clap, wave his fins and a lot more entertaining gestures. For some information sea lions is different from seals, sea lions are larger than the latter and definitely has a darker color. Their gender is can be identified by the hair on their neck, when it has a hair on the neck that is a male sea lion. But when it doesn't have a hair on its neck its definitely a female one.

Sea Lion Show
After that show we finally had our lunch in one of the nipa on the beach. The lunch is provided by the ocean adventure. after eating we continue the tour and another show is waiting for us in ECO THEATER, a show which features some interesting animals like bat, snake, eagle and etc. It also shows on how to survive in the forest by making fire and some utensils by just using bamboo. It is a good show for kids where in they will be aware on how the animals live and the kids got really interested in Forest survival things.

LEARNING CENTER is the next stop where the children will be fed by a lot of informations regarding to dolphins and whales. To Start with, dolphins are not a fish they are just a fish like mammal creature. They also breath every 15 minutes, so there's a big possibility for them to get drowned. Because they are breathing, like other animals they also have nose which can be located on the top of their head. Their tail fluke is the strongest part of their bodies because it contains a pure muscle.

Most of the dolphins they have in OCEAN ADVENTURE are just rescued from Japan. Because in Japan they haunt dolphins to use as their fertilizers. Because the japanese fishermen see them as a pests for a reason that they eat fish that caused fishermen to caught smaller amount of fish than usual.
For the finale, we watched the DOLPHIN SHOW where a lot of trained dolphins do some tricks such as spinning, dancing, nodding and etc. This is the most enjoyable part for me, they are sooooo cuuuute. and it is my very first time to see a dolphin.  Very entertaining show. :D

Same with sea lions, dolphins are given a fish as a reward to every tricks they performed.

after the show we then proceed to souvenir shops to buy some souvenirs and went back to the bus to proceed to the last destination which is the Duty free.

In DUTY FREE I just bought some candies and we had our merienda there then afterwards went back to the bus. after an hour the bus continue moving going back to Bulacan. At 8:30pm we are already at home.

I've enjoyed the whole trip, specifically the Sea lion and dolphin show. I loooooovve those dolphins and wanna take them home! haha.

Subic is such a nice place. NICE FIELDTRIP! I hope we had this during my high school years.

DAVAO Ow-wOw :D

We reached DAVAO CITY at 8:00pm, we traveled for almost 8 hours. The first thing we did was we check-in at Sampaguita Inn and stayed there for a while to rest. After almost an hour of resting, we went out to meet my friends who live there and had our dinner  at PENONG's where in grilled chicken and pork are their specialty at an affordable price.

After having our dinner we went to Torres st. where a lot of bars can be found. We entered a bar named GURU, we drink a lot of Tanduay ice , danced and stayed there 'til 2am because the bars in Davao city only served drinks until 2am.

What's good in there is that smoking inside the bar's vicinity is prohibited and anyone who abide this policy will need to comply to penalties like paying Php10,000. Unlike in Manila smoking inside bars are allowed which ain't good for the non-smokers like me. I hope that soon the bars in Manila will have the same policy regarding in smoking.

After barhopping we went back to our accommodation. when we got to Sampaguita inn we stayed a while in the lobby 'til 4am, we played uno cards and finally we decided to sleep because we're already sleepy.

We woke up at 10am and after fixing ourselves we start our day tour having PEOPLE'S PARK as our first destination but unfortunately, it's still close and will be open after an hour. So we decided to go to SHRINE CHURCH, then to JACK'S RIDGE where there's a view of the whole city.

Next is to ALDIVINCO where a lot of souvenir shops can be found. We bought some souvenirs such as shirts and key chains then went to Magsaysay St. where there are a lot of DURIAN vendors. We ate durian and i liked it :D but some of my friends did not. after that we taste MANGOSTEEN which taste a little sour and sweet, It is my first time to taste it and I like it compared to durian and it became one of my favorite fruit.

After eating fruits we also eat some delicious street foods and went back to Sampaguita inn to pack our things because our flight going to Manila is 7:30pm but we need to be in the airport at 6pm.

At 5:00pm we're already on our way to DAVAO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. After bidding farewell to my friends we immediately went to the check-in counter. Unfortunately, when we checked-in we've known that our flight is 1 hour delayed, so instead of leaving at 7:30, the plane leaves at 8:30pm. We spend our time in the passenger's waiting lounge talking to each other and finally at 8pm we got in the plane and reached manila at 11:15pm.

Due lack of time we were not able to visit all of the attractions in Davao, but its ok, there's always a next time. And when that next time comes i'll make sure that we'll have enough time to explore and visit all the attractions in Davao.

Davao city is a clean and beautiful city with disciplined people. I hope that someday Manila will be like Davao especially in terms of cleanliness and discipline.

This is the end of our MINDANAO ADVENTURE. I hope you guys enjoyed reading. THANKS!

THREE THUMBS UP TO US!!!

COME AGAIN [CAM-MI-GUIN]

Balingoan Port

ferry

Benoni Port

After an hour of riding a ferry from
BALINGOAN PORT going to Benoni Port in Camiguin, we finally arrived in Benoni Port and we already have a service waiting for us, a PURPLE multicab! soooo nice. haha.

We first went to KATIBAWASAN FALLS because we'll passed through it on the way to our accommodation, so we decided to stop for some minutes and took pictures. After that we proceed to our accommodation to leave our luggages, rest for a while then start our day tour.

Katibawasan falls
Walkway
We bought our packed lunch first, then start our day tour, our first stop is WALKWAY to the old volcano and stations of the cross. Jerrald and I decided to reach the top so we trek for almost an hour. sooo tiring and we didn't bring any water with us. haha.

After that we went to the famous SUNKEN CEMETERY. We didn't plan to swim and we thought that we'll just see it from a far, but fortunately we were able to snorkel and went near the cross through the boat we rented for just Php100.

The whole capital of CAMIGUIN with its cemetery, sunk under the sea. In the following years, the sunken land and the gravestones can still be seen when the tide is low. But in 1948 until 1953, Mount Vulcan erupted again, sinking the whole area deeper, to around twenty feet. In 1982, a large cross was built on the solidified lava to mark the site that became the graves of the ancestors of the Camiguin people. It has become a sunken cemetery. Now, it is one of the world's most unique diving sites.

Sunken Cemetery

Snorkeling in the area is a unique experience knowing that there are tombs underwater. But the tombs are already covered with corals and with colorful fishes living in it. We caught a blue starfish but return it after some minutes. [kawawa kasi] hehe. After some minutes of snorkeling and taking pictures we went back to the shore, bought some souvenirs then proceed to our next destination.

Our next stop is GUIOB CHURCH RUINS which was built in the 16th century, it is made of coral stones specifically located in Barangay Bonbon, Catarman, Camiguin. It was damaged due to volcanic eruption on May 13, 1971. We also found a 120 years old tree. The guide helps us took pictures in the beautiful spots around the ruins. :D

We then we proceed to STO. NIÑO COLD SPRINGS where we had our lunch. The water is veeeery coooold. haha. It's my first time to swim in cold springs and it is a nice experience it's like swimming in water full of ice. :D

SODA WATER SWIMMING POOL where in you can drink the water. We didn't swim there, we just enter the vicinity to see the place. :D

ARDENT HOTSPRINGS is our next stop [pasmahan after cold, hot nman haha], we just bought souvenirs there and we didn't enter the vicinity because we're already tired.

After a long day tour and activities we finally went back to our accommodation to have a rest. The next morning we woke up at 6am, went to a church and in there we found a TAHO vendor which is unique because their taho contains condense milk, we bought some and then proceed to the terminal and bought 3kilos of LANSONES [the Camiguin's specialty and my favorite], ride the ferry for an hour and proceed to the terminal going to BUTUAN and from there ride a bus again going to DAVAO which is our last destination.

CAMIGUIN ISLAND is a beautiful place with a lot of springs due to the presense of a lot of volcanoes in the island. It is a pear-shaped volcanic island with a total land area of 238 sq. kilometers. One of the most beautiful place here in our country.
